Living up to its past standard, the African Movies Academy Awards brought top “Hollywood acts” to the 8th edition of the award ceremony which held on Sunday April 22, at the Expo Hall of Eko Hotel and Suites.
Visiting this year, were ‘The Best Man’ actor, Morris Chestnut who presented the statuette for the top prize of the evening ‘Movie of the Year’
Jimmy Jean Louis, who co-hosted the ceremony with Nigerian counterpart O.C Ukeje; Lynn Whitefield, who handed Majid Michel the coveted ‘Best Actor in a Lead Role’ prize; and ‘Prison Break’ co-star, Rockmond Dumba.
