Renowned Nollywood producer, Emem Isong never gets tired of hard work. After the resounding success of her latest dance movie, Ï ‘ll Take My Chance” which she co-produced with actress Ini Edo, the hardworking producer has returned to the trenches again.
She’s begun work on another movie titled “We Can’t get Away.”
In a chat with HVP, during the week, Emem said she has already shot the movie.
“At the moment, we are doing the post-production. It is the next movie that is coming out of our stable after “I ‘ll Take my Chance.”, she told HVP.
Emem reputed to have produced such classics as “Emotional Crack”, “Reload”, “Guilty Pleasure” disclosed that “I’ll Take my Chance’ gulped over N50 million, adding that, plans are underway to premiere the dance movie which centres on a medley of drama, dance, love and suspense, in the UK and America.
Disclosing further, the prolific producer said the movie will be released on DVD later in the year.
For her, ‘I’ll Take my Chance’ as a dance movie is unique in the sense that “we decided to use the movie to promote the dance form of our ethnic group. It is the first time we are doing a proper cinema movie.”
The movie, which premiered at the Silverbird cinemas penultimate Saturday amid pomp features former Mr Nigeria, Bryan Okwara and actress Ini Edo, late Sam Efe Loco, Jide Kosoko, Biola.
