Bobbi Kristina wants to change her name to diss dad

Bobby Brown's past attempts to ingratiate himself with his daughter by raving about her singing apparenlty aren't enough. According to TMZ, Bobbi Kristina has told friends that she hates her name and wants to change it to the simpler "Kristina Houston" to nix associations with her bad-boy father. Apparently, this isn't the first time the 19-year-old has broached the name change, but mom Whitney Houston would never allow it.

It's understandable that a grieving teenager with a volatile father might make such a drastic move, but at least one TMZ commenter advises restraint, saying, "I understand she wants to be a living tribute to her mother, but this wrong and she'll be sorry she hurt her dad."
